SHAME ON YOU HYPOCRITES!

SHAME on these two-faced hypocrites who BOOED and heckled Bush at the 2005 SOTU address and got NO rebukes. Crybaby, two-faced, UNAMERICAN [Yes, Nancy Pelosi, I mean YOU!] HYPOCRITES! Don’t you have something better to do than whine and cry about someone acting like YOU people do as a rule?

I grew up during the sixties, when the only people protesting were “peace lovers”, Doves they were called then.  The peace sign was new and all the rage.  Back in the 60′s, my Mom was a democrat. And as soon as I was old enough to have an opinion, I saw the error in that mindset. She was a victim all her life, expecting someone else to pay her way. I have been working, paying taxes and doing for myself since I was 14. No one had to pay me to go the the Tea Parties and I wish I could have been in DC on 9/12/09. Of course, the cowardly lyin’ left the White House so that he didn’t have to listen to us, once again. Typical.

But Sen. Joe Wilson stood FOR us during POTUS’s speech last week. When all of us who truly love this country and want it returned to the people WOULD have screamed “LIAR!” at the top of our lungs had we been allowed, he did it for us.  He apologized. I would NOT have…it is what we, over 50% of us now, absolutely believe.

It’s NOT about race, it’s not unAmerican. Maureen Dowd is a desperate, pathetic waste of flesh. If she heard the word “boy” as an unsaid word, then SHAME ON HER! She is the racist in this scenario.

And today? His hypocrite “brethren” voted on a resolution of disapproval on him for his outburst.  I am so angry I am beside myself. HOW DARE THEY???

He was the ONLY one who dared to speak for the PEOPLE! The second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence reads as follows:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Good for Joe, for taking the high road on this deal and recognizing it as the ridiculous circus that it was. I am not so gracious.

I think this Government as a whole, and most certainly the hypocritical and tyrannical members, who believe they somehow have been elected Princes and Princesses, need to climb down off of their high horses.  They are ALL corrupt and they ALL are coming under the scrutiny of their BOSSES…WE THE PEOPLE!

Tea Party Express

I have a lot of opinions. This much is obvious. But usually I spout them here, on FB or yell them at the TV. I hate confrontation, for the most part…a by product of a family who never got along, I guess.

So, I have been to exactly two political rallies in my whole life.

The first, was when we marched on Sacramento’s State Capitol to calmly, but loudly request the removal of Gray Davis as Governor of California.

The second…today…was a Tea Party in Dallas, TX.  It was an awesome thing.  Let me make clear: NO ONE paid me.  NO ONE called me to ask me to be there.  NO ONE told me what to say.  I wore this:

…because I truly feel like I am not allowed to have an opinion in this country unless I am following the sheeple on the left.  Of course, if I were a sheeple, maybe I would be given free lunch and paid about $10 an hour for my time on the bus, and to stand with my professionally printed signs and yell predetermined chants supporting something I really don’t even understand, because that’s how this administration wants it.  “Close your eyes, and just walk forward…of course we’ll TELL you if you’re in any danger. We’re here to help you…trust us…truuuust us.”

But I am NOT a sheeple.  I agree with some things the left is always screaming about.  I recycle.  I drive a hybrid.  I use a water filter instead of bottled water.  I want more responsible care for the earth.  But you know what? WE don’t have control of that in the WHOLE world.  We keep sending jobs overseas…where they don’t give a crap whether they can breathe the air or not, cuz they just wear a mask everywhere anyhow.  The left wants to support every country BUT our own. Our textbooks all paint the people involved in US history as a horrible, native slaughtering, slave beating bunch of white men.  And many parents don’t bother to read what their kids are being taught or teach them anything themselves, so of course, we have raised a whole generation or three of America hating liberal sheeple.  But not me.

I spoke to lots of people today. Surprisingly, no one was being paid to be there.  No one I spoke to had been called or asked to come to the party.  They saw it was coming, felt a desire to show support and came…on their own.  They waved flags…instead of burning them.  They sang songs of patriotism and listened to speakers without any rioting, fighting or disruption…except maybe of traffic.  There were a lot of people there.  Old, young, male, female, many different political parties, veterans in wheelchairs and folks in work clothes, obviously taking time for the rally during a long lunch break.  In many cases, like, my own, they parked 10-12 blocks away from the event and walked to the rally…then walked back afterwards.  No buses for us.  And that’s OK.  There was very little to see in the way of opposition, so my friends’ fears of me getting into an altercation, get digits bitten off or end up in jail were all for naught.  This time.

I’m not sure it will be safe to go the next time. The ‘communications czar’ [Diversity Czar for the FCC] is a big fan of the Chavez regime, and government takeover of all communications.  Who knows what our right to gather will be taken away.  But I will go anyway.  Don’t get me wrong.  I am truly afraid of this administration.  This is not the usual day at the beach in the Clinton White House, and it sure as heck isn’t Jimmy Carter. It’s going to be a scary time, this next year or 3.  But if we stick to the truth, if we can keep our eyes open and our antenna up for lies…we might be able to get past this and make things right again.  Watch and pray, people.

And if you can, go find a Tea Party and express your disgust for this administration and your hope for common sense, positive change.

Who’s “UNAMERICAN”?

Nancy Pelosi needs to shut her mouth.  She is so two-faced.

Here’s what I mean:

Apparently, it’s only “American” to voice an opinion against a conservative view.  No wonder we’re all “angry”. They shouldn’t push us though, right? Aren’t we all the NRA members?  Dangerous…oooooo.

Today, Obama had yet ANOTHER townhall. Seemed fixed like the rest…til the last woman.  Seems to me the Messiah’s staff blew it when they didn’t KNOW the Montana state constitution preamble…cuz she read it to him:

“We the people of Montana grateful to God for the quiet beauty of our state, the grandeur of our mountains, the vastness of our rolling plains,and desiring to improve the quality of life, equality of opportunity and to secure the blessings of liberty for this and future generations do ordain and establish this constitution.”

Awesome…and then she asked him to read the rest.  With God in the first sentence, I’m pretty sure he didn’t like it, and has no plans to read the rest. WE should though. It is a beautiful document. Section 1 rocks:

“All political power is vested in and derived from the people. All government of right originates with the people, is founded upon their will only, and is instituted solely for the good of the whole.”

I swear…I’m ready to move to Montana!

If George W. Bush had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have shrugged it off?

Had George W. Bush given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and incorrectly formatted DVDs, in exchange for a thoughtful and historic gift from Mr. Brown, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had gifted the Queen of England with an iPod containing videos of his own speeches, would you not have thought this embarrassingly narcissistic and tacky?

If George W. Bush had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, would you have been incensed?

Were George W. Bush to have visited Austria and made an inane reference to the non-existent “Austrian language”, would you have brushed it off as an insignificant slip?

If George W. Bush had staffed his cabinet and circle of top advisers with persons who cannot or do not keep current on their income taxes, would you have been OK with that?

If George W. Bush had been so unbelievably ignorant of Mexican history and the Spanish language as to clumsily and nonsensically refer to Mexican Independence Day – Cinco de Mayo (Fifth of May) as “cinco de cuatro” (fifth of four) in the presence of the Mexican Ambassador, and continue to flub it when trying to recover from the gaffe, would you have merely winced in embarrassment and shrugged it off?

Had George W. Bush miss-spelled the word “advice”, would you have hammered him incessantly as was Dan Quale for spelling “potato” “potatoe”, and cite this as proof he’s a dunce?

Had George W. Bush burned 9,000 gallons of air polluting jet fuel to go on a Midwestern photo op and plant a single tree on “Earth Day”, would you have said he’s a hypocrite?

If the Bush administration had okayed Air Force One with fighter escort flying low and unannounced over millions of people in downtown Manhattan while stirring widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually “get” what happened on 9-11?

Had George W. Bush been the first President to need a teleprompter to get through a press conference, would you have seen this as proof of how inept he is? And would you also suspect his words were actually those of someone behind the scenes?

If George W. Bush had failed to send relief to flood victims in the Midwest where more people were killed or made homeless than in New Orleans, would you have fashioned it into an ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence?

If George W. Bush, in an unprecedented government intrusion into the private sector, and completely without the constitutional authority to do so, dared “fire” the CEO of a corporation, would you have acquiesced?

Had George W. Bush in his first year proposed to double a national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, would you have gone along?

And if George W. Bush then proposed to double the debt again in a few years, would you have questioned the wisdom of such a course of action?

If George W. Bush had degraded by 90% your own retirement plans holdings in GM stock, and at the same time given the UAW a majority stake in GM, effectively giving ownership over to the union, would you have accepted that?

If George W. Bush, after telling Americans “it is time to sacrifice”, had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to fly Laura to New York City for dinner and a Broadway play on the taxpayer dime, would you have called him a hypocrite?

If George W. Bush, after stating he didn’t have all the facts, had injected himself into a civil matter, claimed a police officer “acted stupidly” in doing his job and then had a beer party at the White House to smooth it all over would you have thought it was a great “teaching moment” in our Country’s history?

Yes. That really IS a stunning list of accomplishments.

So, tell me again, what exactly is it about Obama that you consider evidence of his brilliance, competence, diplomacy, and leadership?

Can’t think of anything? Don’t worry. Obama’s done all the above in his first 7 months — so you have three years and five months to come up with something.

And I am sure there’s stuff missing from this list…Lord only knows what we’ll be able to add in the next 3.5 years.

One Angry Mobster

Boy, am I sick of being called ridiculous things.   I have suffered through plenty of phony liberal protests in my years.  Busloads of “protesters” being paid to protest stuff they didn’t know or care about.  Oh, wait, like ACORN, right?

Free Speech?? shirtI happen to know that the people being called “Right Wing Extremists”, and being accused of being planted protesters are saying exactly what I, and many of my friends, are saying to each other. But because it doesn’t follow what the media are telling us to think, we are phony. It’s such double standard crap.  And they wonder why we’re “angry mobsters”.

I have heard libs crybabying about, “But it’s OK for Faux news to toss around things like “terrorist-loving America-hating socialists”. Kind of sucks when the tables are turned, doesn’t it?”

For crying out loud…it’s not good enough to have 90% of the media cowtowing to the liberal lies? Most liberals DO hate America…they cannot stand what the Constitution says, that’s why they keep trying to change it. And? They are the ones who always threaten to leave the country if they don’t get their way in an election. Obama DOES have terrorist friends. Right now there are so many promises that he has already broken that it’s hard to keep track. Good grief.

We put together peaceful protests of actual people called “Tea Parties” and we the liberal media either ignores us or treats us as though we think a “tea party” refers to having a cuppa with our frilly dollies and teddy bears.  Well, guess what?  We actually know what historical event tea party refers to, and we even know the origin of those teddy bears.

Then I heard someone say “I tend to lean conservative. I just wish we didn’t have these religious zealots. I agree with almost everything they say except the whole god thing.” Really?

As far as the “God thing” goes, many of the men who wrote and signed the Constitution were theologians and Christian educators/ministers. This Country was founded on Christian principals and whether folks like it or not, “separation of church and state” was meant to protect our right TO religion, not FROM religion. If you read the words, it prohibits the government from dictating a national religion, not forbidding us from believing in and using God as our marker of right and wrong.

I actually wish there was a party called the “Common Sense” party. I hate the whole political system with this “they vs us” crap. NO ONE should think it’s OK to be hanging out with known, unrepentant terrorists. Especially not the President. NO ONE should think it’s OK to kill someone just because they think what they do for a living is wrong. Even if what they do for a living is abortion. We can try to stop the killing of innocent lives when we can, but killing someone else is not the way.  It just is common sense.  Two wrongs and all that…

Apparently, my name will be going on some sort of list because I disagree with this administration, and the deathcare plan, and just about everything this President stands for, whatever that will turn out to be.  He doesn’t appear to stand for the rights of Americans, since he is embarrassed and apologetic to be one.

Funny how they didn’t start that list during the previous 8 years, when there were suggestions of assassination and everything else against President Bush.  He kept us safe for 8 years, even though it wasn’t the popular thing to do.  Which is better than openly planning for “end of life options” for our seniors and hosting beer bashes to give the press plenty of pictures for the next “Obama is great” coffee table book.  Meh.

Mr. Obama…YOU First!

I am so sick of Obama blaming the Republicans for not being more “bipartisan”.  Really?  Is he serious?  This whole healthcare thing is so far from what ANY Conservative could stomach, let alone vote for…and yet he pretends it’s not the fault of the BILL for not being more evenly yoked, it’s us.  It’s ME , a “right wing extremist”, who is to blame for the pushback on this ridiculous piece of  “legislation”.

Well, I didn’t vote for you Mr. Obama, and you have broken every promise you made during your campaign…which I fully expected.  I worked in the healthcare field for 30 years, and I can tell you that “managed care” has only managed to screw things up.  Handing healthcare over to the insurance companies was a bad enough idea.  To take it one step further away from the medical field and hand it to the government, who doesn’t run ANYTHING well, is a huge mistake.

I assist my mother with her government run healthcare programs [medicare and medicaid] NOW and I can tell you that she is currently going without at least 3 medicines that her doctor says she needs because neither medicare nor medicaid will paid for them.  Even after the crazy and fruitless “appeals” process, which I know she could never have done on her own, they were still denied.  The combined cost of these medicines are more than she has leftover from her social security check after her rent is paid.  My husband’s salary has been cut 15% since you were elected, and my business is struggling, and we are putting our daughter through college, so there is no way for us to pay for them for her.

I know you haven’t read all 1000+ pages of this bill, but we do not need more government employees, more government payroll and more “Czars”.  I am afraid your charisma and charm are not enough to cover for your lack of common sense.

I already pay for my own health insurance.  I have a $12 copay.  I make sure I do what I can to keep myself healthy.  I don’t want to be taxed for a health insurance program that I know from experience is going to cover only what some paper pusher thinks I should get to have, and not what my doctor orders.  I don’t want to be taxed for care that I have to wait weeks or months for, when I can get in the same day or in a couple of days now.  I don’t want to be taxed for something that is going to cost so much more than it ought to because it will be run by the government, which if you knew anything at all you would realize ALWAYS costs more than it should.  I completely disagree with this and any conservative, common sense minded individual would NEVER agree to this.

But rather than trying to come up with a new idea…NOT a government run plan, but some other way to manage things that might actually WORK…you will get your Democrat cronies to ram this through, UNREAD and unchallenged.  This is becoming a pattern with you, Mr. Obama, and your Congress.  Leap without looking and then blame everyone else when the cliff is steeper than you thought.

Well, I am on the growing bandwagon of folks who hope you fail. Until you come up with some way to bring the “change” that you promised in a way that doesn’t damage us and make things better for all of us instead of worse for most of us, then YOU are not MY president and I hope you fail.

And about this “Bipartisan” stuff you keep throwing around?  YOU FIRST!

How many zeros in a billion?

This is too true to be funny.

The next time you hear a politician use the word ‘billion’ in a casual manner, think about whether you want the ‘politicians’ spending YOUR tax money.

A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of its releases.

Well, if you are one of 484,674 residents of New Orleans (every man, woman, child), you each get $516,528.

Or, if you have one of the 188,251 homes in New Orleans , your home gets $1,329,787.

Or, if you are a family of four, your family gets $2,066,012.
