Stand Up Comedian in Chief
I wonder if he’s the President or the “Stand Up Comedian in Chief”? Not a day goes by that I don’t see a clip of him cracking jokes about the “other side” or the ungrateful tea party folks. Way to unite us, Barry.
Last night he gave a speech at a fund raiser for Barbara Boxer. Oh, by the way, she’d like you all to get as excited as the tea party folks. She said so, anyhow…but I digress. Barry is in full campaign mode, so he is doing his stand up routine nightly in some venue or another. He had a riff about how the republicans drove the economy into the ditch and now are standing around watching while Barry and Nancy and their hard working buds pull it out. Oh ho ho…ha ha ha. He’s such a comic.
What’s even funnier, but he doesn’t mention, is the fact that for most of the time the economy was being driven down this road, his comrades on the left were behind the wheel…and during the two years prior to his election, HE was one of the backseat drivers, too. It is laughable how the left never wants to take responsibility for the economy, but they are the ones who have been in control of the congress for many years. Bush had no way to do anything with a left sided Congress in change. And everyone wants to talk about how wonderful Clinton was…hello? Didn’t he have a Republican Congress!?
I am also bored with Barry and friends blaming everyone else for everything else. It’s Bush’s fault…it’s Cheney’s fault…it’s Wall Street’s fault. It’s the Republicans fault…it’s the Tea Party’s fault…it’s God’s fault. Sounds an awful lots like the crazy Iranian cleric saying earthquakes are caused by women wearing immodest clothing. Maybe that will be Obama’s next thing. In any case, it should be interesting to see who he points at next. I can guarantee he won’t shoulder the blame himself.

A letter to the Editor of all the liberal newspapers…sent, but likely never to see ink:
I would like to respond to the folks who believe that anyone who doesn’t support Obama is a racist.
Nothing could be further from the truth, and I’m tired of hearing that lame accusation. I do not support Obama in this election, and I have many reasons for that. None of them have a thing to do with the color of his skin. Many of them have to do with his liberal voting record (when he votes something other than “present”) and his reputation as being among the most liberal in the Senate. This is inconsistent with my values and I suspect many conservatives feel the same way. I also believe that separation of powers, and checks and balances in our government were created for a very good reason; and that it’s a bad idea to put a liberal Democrat in the White House during a time when there is a liberal-leaning Democratic majority in the House and Senate.
Further, I believe that most politicians will say anything to get elected, and Obama has demonstrated ably that he is no different. By repeatedly accusing the Bush administration of creating the housing crisis, he has lied. Plain and simple. The housing crisis is a direct result of political decisions made in the 1990′s during the Clinton administration. In conjunction with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were authorized to make risky loans to people who stood a good chance of not being able to repay those loans and who would eventually be foreclosed upon. Banks were coerced into funding these risky loans by being given quotas, and faced losing business if they didn’t meet them. During the Bush administration, efforts were made by the GOP (including Senator McCain) to tighten up these lending regulations and head off the housing crisis before it became a crisis. These efforts were stopped, thanks to the Democrats in Congress and with Obama’s support. There is also the question of Obama’s ties to community activist group ACORN, currently being investigated for fraudulently registering voters. This doesn’t even take into account the question of other connections in Obama’s background, such as William Ayers and Tony Rezko.
So tell me, is Obama really any different? I don’t believe he is and it has nothing to do with his ethnic background at all, so please stop trying to play upon racial guilt in order to promote your candidate. It’s not a good argument, and if your candidate really is the “candidate of change”, it’s beneath him and should be beneath you as well.

God, if I could have ONE wish, it would be for Democrats to stop arguing and posturing long enough to pay attention. Play CHESS! Learn the consequences of your actions! Do you really want to work overtime to pay YOUR bills so you can pay for some lazy **** to sit on his butt?
Yeah, yeah, disadvantaged poor, blah, blah. I give to the food bank. I give to the Red Cross. I give to the children’s charities. I have also lived in the city and been asked for money MANY TIMES EVERY DAY for “food”…then watched the “poor person” blatantly walk into the corner liquor store and buy a tall boy in a sack. Screw that.
Someone needs to count up how many times Obama has said “we need to spend more on…” in this campaign. For every time he has said it? Figure another tax on your income. Oh, wait…he said he wouldn’t raise taxes on the middle class. So did Bill Clinton. I believe he will say anything to get elected. I believe he’s a liar. He also says he won’t put new taxes on families with incomes less than $200K. There’s another reason for me to NOT work.
He’s full of reasons for people to not work…let’s see, fewer taxes, free health care, free college…why work at all? In that case, why go to college…it’s free, yeah, but you won’t need it, since you won’t be working, since it will be more advantageous to sit on your butt and collect free health care and welfare. Bah. Stupid socialist crap. Can’t you people see where this is headed???
Here’s what I want: I want people to take responsibility for their actions. I want people to work for what they want, not steal it and not expect it from the government. I want people to teach their children right from wrong, not expect the school system to do it. OMG, teach your children ANYTHING except to steal, cheat, lie, beg or whine about everything they think has been done to them. I want common sense in our society. I want common decency. I want the Golden Rule back!

4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses);

6) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.
America voted for change in 2006, and we got it!
Remember it’s Congress that makes law not the President. He has to work with what’s handed to him.
