Brain Dead in DC
I swear to God. The reason we need REAL people in Washington, and not politicians. They are completely brain dead.
When I am short of money, I have to find ways to cut MY SPENDING! That doesn’t mean I take the damn door off my house…it means I look for ways I am WASTING money. It means I don’t order out. It means I cook at home, and I look for bargains. It means I fire the gardener and mow the lawn myself. It means I don’t go on vacation this year. It means I don’t loan money to my friends and relatives, because I don’t HAVE it. I don’t go borrow money at high interest to give to them to pay back at low interest, you IDIOTS! It means I don’t spend $1M on a damn website when I could get it for $25K, you IDIOTS!
BARRY! We need you to STOP the fraud in Medicare and Medicaid. We need you to STOP funding other countries while we are in debt. We need you to STOP vacationing on our dime. We need you to STOP meddling in things that are better handled in the private sector. We need you to STOP bowing to other leaders and just sit your ass in the oval office and STFU.

Which? Is awesome. But why do they make this distinction? ANY conservative is better than the RINO’s and liberals in there now. Still, I am so pleased to see black conservatives standing up and showing themselves. People need to see something other than the news and honestly, anyone besides Al Sharpton, and frankly, Barack Obama, representing black America.
If ANYONE in the “black community” had done more than offer money for college…if they had shown people that the welfare handouts were not a hand up…that the “projects” were not a payback for slavery, but a different form of it…that gangs only keep them from gaining the true power over their lives, and enslaves them to the streets…that hatred and bigotry can be rampant in their own community, and that it too, enslaves them by giving them someone to blame instead of helping them focus on the real problem. Giving people an excuse to do nothing is what the progressives have done.
Taking responsibility for yourself, your family and your actions…that is the answer. For ALL of us. Wouldn’t it be nice if politicians were to be an example of what to do, what could be…rather than what NOT to do? And what you’d never, ever want to be?
Fair Tax…is FAIR!
What on earth is wrong with the liberals? WHY didn’t THEY come up with the Fair Tax? WHY don’t they support it? WHY wasn’t it one of the first things they bullied through on their agenda?
This is a conundrum. It basically “untaxes” the poor. Aren’t they forever crying about the poor? It gives the American worker their ENTIRE paycheck, to spend how they choose. Aren’t the libs supposed to be FOR the workers? It taxes people who buy very expensive, NEW retail goods, and less for those who buy modestly, and not at all for those who buy used items! Doesn’t that seem to mean it will TAX THE RICH more than the rest of us??? It doesn’t tax business owners for items purchased for business purposes and it doesn’t tax on exported goods. Doesn’t that HELP SMALL BUSINESS?
I do not understand the libs at all. Yes, it would abolish the IRS and that would mean a loss of a lot of government jobs. But guess what? That also means a HUGE decrease in government…what? YES! SPENDING! The government should NOT be one of the biggest employers in the country. BUSINESS should employ people. America should be making things. Selling things. Working. Keeping jobs here.
EVERYONE should read this Fair Tax Information from Americans for Fair Taxation. Decide for yourself. To me, it is a more fair way to contribute to our government…without all of us being tied up and gagged by it.
Too Many Cooks
I “get around” the internet. I run into all types, from rilllly liberal nutjobs to rillly right-wing extremists. There’s always a group of so-called Christians bashing other belief systems, yelling that “Jesus hates _____,” and page after page of leftist commenters calling them bigots and morons. Jesus doesn’t hate anybody, with the possible exception of people spreading hatred in His name. That’s a whole other post, though, and not at all the point of this one. It is the spark for this little rant, however.
Today’s hot topic is immigration. Arizona stepped up to the plate and took action where our own government refused to, and has felt the wrath of the left. Yes, America has been called the “Great Melting Pot,” the place where nearly every American owes his existence to someone who left a home country a generation or six ago to come here. The left rails against the tea party movement which wants its America back, quoting analogies and advocating open borders. The liberals say “Our America” should accept everybody, all the time.
The liberals are stupid.
“Our America” and the “Melting Pot” do not exist anymore. Those who immigrated to this country in the last 150 years and became a part of it did not come here to try to remold it into the places they left. They came here because of what America represented, freedom of opportunity, knowing the endless possibilities that lay before them if they contributed. You only have to read the newspapers to see protests of those who are here to try to make Americans feel guilty for not conforming to THEM, for not providing for THEIR needs and THEIR cultures. I think that is at the heart of the “take back our America” protests, even if they don’t realize it. It comes across as hate, when really it’s just an understanding of what made the country strong to begin with. To be a melting pot you have to melt, and while I realize these protesters are misguided and adding to the fear, it isn’t exactly unfounded fear. When a vocal group insists they want to see sharia law established in our country, I want to grab my picket sign, too. MY America would never stand for that.
I want THAT America back, too.
Obama’s Day of Prayer
Another e-mail…I know most of this is true…I do not know when the pic was taken, or where, but it sure looks like he’s getting ready to pray Muslim-style to me.
In 1952, President Truman established one day a year as a “National Day of Prayer.”
In 1988, President Reagan designated the first Thursday in May of each year as the National Day of Prayer.
In June 2007, (then) Presidential candidate Barack Obama declared that the USA was no longer a Christian nation.
On September 25, 2009 from 4 am until 7 pm, a National Day of Prayer for the Muslim religion was Held on Capitol Hill, beside the White House. There were over 50,000 Muslims that day in D.C.
This year, President Obama canceled the 21st annual National Day of Prayer ceremony at the White House under the ruse of “not wanting to offend anyone”. BUT HE PRAYS WITH THE MUSLIMS! I guess it Doesn’t matter if “Christians” are offended by this event – we obviously don’t count as “anyone” anymore.
The direction this country is headed should strike fear in the heart of every Christian, especially knowing that the Muslim religion believes that if Christians cannot be converted, they should be annihilated.

The majority of us feel this way, so why isn’t it done already??
According to a recent poll by Rasmussen Reports this overwhelming majority opinion is unchanged from 2006. The survey of 1,000 American Adults was conducted on May 7-8, 2010 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
Americans continue to overwhelmingly believe that English should be the official language of the United States and reject by sizable margins the idea that such a move is racist or a violation of free speech.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 87% of Adults favor making English the nation’s official language. This is the highest level of support yet but in line with what voters have been saying for several years. Just nine percent (9%) disagree.
Eighty-three percent (83%) say a company doing business in this country should be allowed to require its employees to speak English. Eleven percent (11%) say companies should not be permitted to require their employees to speak English on the job. These views are unchanged from a year ago.
Only 10% of Americans say requiring people to speak English is a form of racism or bigotry. Eighty-four percent (84%) disagree and say that’s not true.
Twelve percent (12%) believe that declaring English the official language would limit free speech in this country, but 78% feel otherwise and see no limits being placed on free speech. Support for English as the official language is high across all demographic groups.
…Over 80% of whites, blacks and those of other racial and ethnic backgrounds agree that requiring people to speak English is not a form of racism or bigotry. These groups also agree by similar percentages that such a requirement is not a limit on free speech in this country.
Eighty percent (80%) of voters believe that those who move to America should adopt American culture. Again, this level of support has remained largely unchanged for years.
The article goes on to say, “The president in remarks last July said that “instead of worrying about whether immigrants can learn English,” Americans “need to make sure your child can speak Spanish.” But Americans strongly disagree: Eighty-three percent (83%) place a higher priority on encouraging immigrants to speak English as their primary language. Just 13% take the opposite view and say it is more important for Americans to learn other languages.”
I am so done with Obama. He might claim America as his current country of residence, depending on what it nets him, but he is NOT an American that I want in charge of this country anymore. And I am done with the minority opinions ruling the roost. All you squeaky wheels need to sit down and STFU. Come November, you are so outta there.

My fervent prayer to God every day is that people wake up. That the bonds of stupidity and socialist thinking fall from their poor sheep-like minds like they did from people like David Horowitz and Whittaker Chambers. Maybe it’s rare, I don’t know. But that is my prayer. Please God, touch their hearts and minds. Amen.
